Emirates Park has added three exciting young prospects to its racing and breeding portfolio following a successful buying spree at the Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale. Held annually at Oaklands Junction in Victoria, the prestigious auction is renowned for producing elite racehorses and future Group 1 winners. Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale The sale consistently attracts buyers from across Australia and internationally, offering yearlings by leading and emerging stallions.


With a focus on securing well-bred fillies with strong pedigrees and athletic types, Emirates Park purchased three yearlings during the sale, reinforcing its commitment to developing high-quality racehorses for the future.


The first acquisition came with Lot 420, a filly by exciting young sire I Am Immortal out of Tuskar Brook. Emirates Park secured the athletic youngster for $120,000, attracted by her physical presence and pedigree. I Am Immortal, a Group 3-winning juvenile, has quickly gained attention as a promising sire, and his progeny have been well received in the sales ring.


Emirates Park also secured Lot 702, a filly by Group 1-winning sprinter Tagaloa from the mare Savvy Move. Purchased for $65,000, the filly represents excellent value and comes from a family that has produced multiple winners. Tagaloa, a Blue Diamond Stakes winner during his racing career, is an emerging young stallion whose progeny are expected to possess both speed and class.

The final purchase was Lot 789, a filly by Group 1-winning stallion Grunt out of Capezel, secured for $50,000. Grunt, a son of champion sire O’Reilly, has been gaining momentum with his early crops and is producing strong, athletic types well suited to Australian racing.


These three fillies will now join the Emirates Park racing team as the stud continues its strategy of investing in well-bred young stock with the potential to develop into high-quality racehorses and valuable future broodmares.
