Golden Slipper

Golden Slipper Stakes is one of Australia's most prestigious horse races, held annually at Rosehill Gardens in Sydney. Established in 1957, this race is exclusively for two-year-old thoroughbreds and is run over a distance of 1,200 meters. The event has grown in significance over the years, attracting top horses, trainers, and jockeys from around the world. Winning the Golden Slipper is considered a remarkable achievement and often serves as a stepping stone to future racing success.

Mossfun 2014

Mossfun was by Mossman and purchased at Inglis Easter sales for $85,000 and trained by Hawkes Family.

​

She won the Inglis Nursery, Widden Stakes and Silver Slipper before going on to win Golden Slipper.

Estijaab 2018

Estijaab (AUS) was a daughter of Snitzel and sold at Inglis Easter Sale for $1.7m.

Trained by Hawkes family. Estijaab debuted in late January won the Reisling before winning the Golden Slipper at her 4th start.

Marhoona broke history becoming only the 2nd horse to win Golden Slipper at her 3rd start.

Marhoona was bred and raised at Emirates Park and hails from family of Al Maher.

​

Marhoona became 3rd winner of Golden Slipper for Emirates Park.
