Daughter of Eavesdropper scores by 20 lengths

August 31, 2009: Eavesdropper (USA) continued his succession of US-bred and -raced winners when Well That’s Eonugh won a 2YO Fillies Maiden event at River Downs during the final week of August.

The juvenile filly made all of the running in the 1200-metre contest after jumping from barrier six and was well clear of her rivals when the judges called a halt. After turning for home some 12 lengths in advance of her nearest rival, Well That’s Eonugh did not falter with the winning margin believed to be in excess of 20 lengths.

Well That’s Eonugh is a February 2007 foal from Eavesdropper’s second crop to race. She became the Kingmambo stallion’s first 2-year-old winner in season 2009 and his fifteenth individual winner since the beginning of the year.

Well That’s Eonugh is also the second recent winning member of the breed to score by a massive winning margin as Honey Trap won a race at Evangeline Downs on July 30 by no less than nine-and-a-half lengths.

God Gave Me Style was another winner for Eavesdropper in the final week of August, winning a Claiming event at Suffolk Downs over 1100 metres. The 3-year-old gelding was never further back than fourth in a 10-horse field and steadily improved his position throughout the contest to score by a length.

God Gave Me Style was landing his second race in just over six weeks after winning over the same course and distance in July.
