SERVICE FEES REMAIN UNCHANGED FOR 2008

MAY 2008: The 2008 services fees for all Emirates Park resident stallions remain unchanged from 2007.

Fresh from the 2008 Inglis Select Yearling Sale during which the stud sold the $2.7 million top lot, and the progeny of AL MAHER, SECRET SAVINGS (USA) and DANEWIN all proved particularly well received, Emirates Park has resisted any temptation to increase stud fees following a remarkable auction for all vendors concerned.

Part 1 of the 2008 Inglis Select Yearling Sale proved especially noteworthy for Emirates Park stalwart SECRET SAVINGS. Two lots by the son of Seeking The Gold realised an aggregate of $605,000, with a home-bred bay colt from Fatoon fetching $425,000.

The first crop progeny of AL MAHER continued their successful 2008 yearling sale series when five lots were sold for a total of $395,000. This was a solid result for our promising young stallion whose offspring have brought as much as $300,000 at public auction since the beginning of the year and will be prepared out of an array of leading training establishments in 2008/09.

The only yearling in the Select Sale by DANEWIN, offered by Redbank North of Harden, changed hands for $220,000.

The introductory service fee for OLD DEUTERONOMY (USA), Emirates Park’s only first season sire for 2008, has been set at $5,500 (inc. 10% GST). He is to stand alongside Al Samer at the outfit’s Victorian arm, Digger’s Rest.
